To travel to Lhasa from within China, you must present a Tibet permit and a passport when boarding/training. Therefore, German tourists need to send us a valid passport and visa scans in advance before entering Tibet (if it is a non-L visa, in addition to providing a passport and visa, a work certificate or visa invitation letter is required). In general, the Tibet permits of entry can be processed 7-10 days before you enter Tibet. If you enter Tibet by train, we will send a scanned copy of the letter of entry to your mailbox. We will send the original letter of entry into Tibet to the domestic city where you are flying and deliver it to you.
2. From Nepal to Tibet
Entering Tibet from Nepal requires a Chinese group tourist visa (if you enter Tibet from Nepal, no matter whether you have previously applied for a Chinese visa, it will be invalid!
