  • It is not allowed for foreign passports holders to visit this visionary lake in Tibet;
  • So foreign travelers can not get Tibet travel permits to visit Lake Lhamo Latso;
  • Chinese travelers including HK people can go and visit Lhamo Latso Lake;
  • A licensed tour guide is a must, otherwise you may not be able to enter;
  • Private or shared tour vehicle can take you there;
  • Please take Chinese identity card or HK returning home cards for the visit;
  • 1-3 hours to be spent there;
  • For Chinese ID travelers: To get to Lhamo Latso, you must first reach Gyatsa County, which is 128km away from Zedang. The bus at Zedang Town Station departs for Gaza County at 8:00 in the morning. After passing the Temple of Qiong Guojie, there is still 15km to reach Ram Ratsho, about 5 hours on foot. In the spring and summer digging season of Cordyceps, there is a shuttle bus from Gachach County to Lhamo Latso during non- Cordyceps season, it can only be chartered from Gyatsa County (加查县).
